Language based communication takes time, one has to collect persuasive material, certainty and immediate effectiveness are poor
Violence: easier mean of communication but immature
Other forms of low cost and immature communication: raising voice, slappingon desk, shedding tears, rebuking, using anger, brandishing authority→ try to coerce the other party
For educators, parents, counselors, maintaining law and order is not their jobs → any anger/reprimand/rebuke seen as immature by the student subconsciously → invites contempt and no respect → does not lead to improvement
