When forced, apologies and self reflections don’t lead to true reflections
Juvenile condition:
- condition of not attaining self reliance
- lack of courage to use abilities/reasoning
- Cause
- It’s easier, less responsibilities
- Parents and educators indoctrinate/control/meddle
- Reasons for parents/educators/supervisors to control:
- Fear of authority collapsing
- Responsible for students failing, so only allow safe path
- objective of education is self reliance
- Educators: find happiness in contributing to the goal, not the gratitude from the student (thanks to you …)
- Teach by saying “that’s something you can decide”
- Can provide knowledge or experience if needed for deciding things
- Convey to students you are always ready to help
- Watch at a distance
- If decision fails, student can learn that one can chose one’s own life
