- Objective of education is self-reliance
- Respect helps them regain the courage for self reliance
- Respect is to have regard for the person as they are, without imposing one’s own values. It’s unconditionally having confidence in them
Confidence = respect
- one cannot have confidence without respect
- One is not able to respect with a conditionally trust based relationship
regardless of who the other person is, one can give respect. It’s the courage to believe.
